The U.S.S. Sulaco, a fictional Conestoga-class starship, serves as a crucial setting in James Cameron's film Aliens and briefly appears in Alien 3's opening scene. In Aliens, it transports Colonial Marines to investigate LV-426's lost communication. With a capacity of up to 20,000 tons of cargo, eight UD4L Cheyenne dropships, and life support for 90 crew/passengers (2,000 in hibernation), Sulaco faces an alien infestation before survivors enter cryogenic sleep. A fire in Alien 3 leads to the launch of their tubes; its fate remains unknown, while it's also featured in Aliens: Colonial Marines video game.
