USS Lexington CV-2 WWII Aircraft Carrier

USS Lexington CV-2 WWII Aircraft Carrier

This is the USS Lexington CV-2 carrier version that was sunk during WWII during the battle of the Coral Sea. Split for printing at 1:600 scale, which puts it just under 18" and both 3mf and stl files included and a fully assembled version. I have also included the period aircraft, Wildcat, Dauntless, and Devastator. Each of the split sections have been enclosed to increase structural integrity when printing. With some sanding you should be able to get the pieces to fit together with minimal seams, but easy to fill, if needed.Feel free to scale up or down as needed, but due to small details, recommend resin printing.Edit 11/14/23: I went ahead and added a zip folder that contains a hollowed out version of the hull and all of the guns removed and separated, super structure split, and the crane separated, if you want to print separately. There are a few railings, antennas, etc. that will probably not print properly, but those can either be edited on the 3MF file in 3D Builder, or just left alone and cleaned up after printing. This zip folder has the deck and hull unsplit, so you can easily split to the size to fit your printer if needed.Edit 11/16/23: I just uploaded another zip folder (Hollowed clean) with the sections cleared of all railings, antennas, and such, so it is super clean. I still left the 3mf files so any further simplification needed can easily be done in 3D Builder - just ungroup and click on any items you want to separate or remove. There are also the stl files cleaned up, too.
