USS Guam LPH-9
thingiverse
I'm creating a model of the ship I served on, and it's been a great way to challenge my students to design solutions by using 3D printing as a problem-solving tool. So far, I've started with a basic 3D printed ship model made from Monoprice PLA on a Monoprice Select Mini at 50mm/s, 210°C print temperature and 0°C base temperature. I'll be uploading a detailed file of the aircraft we carried as well, which I designed using Tinkercad in a relatively short amount of time. However, I'd love to see the bow more accurately shaped, but unfortunately, I lack the necessary skills to do so.
