Final version! My solid model has finally printed out perfectly at N scale size. First, glue the wheels into place after printing. I left the 2 open cab designs in case anyone wants to tinker. Feel free to hit me up with any comments or suggestions. Thanks for looking! I wanted an N scale rural delivery mail truck and used diegolegarto's jeep as a base, mashing it together with SeeBass' jeep willys design from Tinkercad. The Tinkercad model may take a while to load since I just kept duplicating and cutting until I had the base I wanted to start with. Then I re-designed the grill and roofline to match a DJ-5. I added details until I thought it looked pretty close. There are still a few externals like mirrors I left off as I don't expect them to print at this scale. Not sure how the inside will turn out either. I may have to go back and make it solid with impressions for the windows instead of open. I'll come back with any changes once I have a chance to try printing again. The original model was paper thin, and I'm unable to get the hood area printed correctly. But filling in the cab worked, and that part is now printing well. The solid file started out with parts from domi1974's jeep cj 5, but it needed work. I'll be back with updates on how this print goes. This time around, the print was better, but still had areas not coming out correctly, and the wheels came off very easily. So, I went back again and now think I have a single piece jeep with separate glue-on wheels that should print well. The scaled-down shells and thin parts from the other models simply wouldn't reproduce well on my printer. If this one is successful, I'll come back to remove 'thing in progress' status.
