USOs exist, and they're not from outer space - yet! Unidentified Storage Objects, also known as UFOs, have started appearing on build plates all around the world. The images prove it - USOs are real, and they're a fun and practical storage solution in the shape of a flying saucer. The USO disk is made up of two parts: an upper section that rotates and a lower section that links together with the central body part. To ensure smooth rotation and thread movement, apply a light lubricant to all contacting surfaces. A standard-sized USO measures 125mm in diameter and 75mm in height, making it a great model UFO or storage container for small items. There are seven storage areas inside the USO, including a secret chamber underneath the screw-in base part. To an unsuspecting observer, the USO looks like just another model on a shelf or desk, but they're missing out on the hidden storage spaces. The USO design consists of five parts: one of each is required for assembly. Printing the USO is a breeze with precise machines and accurate settings. Clearance and thread formation are crucial to ensure smooth operation. Note that an alternative top has been added with two small holes, allowing you to hang your USO on the wall for display. You can print the USO in various colors or add a colorful ring around the upper disk for a spacey effect. Scaling up or down is possible, but be cautious not to scale down too much, as clearances may become too tight, causing parts not to fit together. Refer to the images and print instructions for more information. Don't forget to share your USO creations with the community!
