The Equus lambei mandible from the Yukon Territory, Canada was unearthed in 1903 and meticulously scanned using a high-tech Go!Scan 50 device at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum's Department of Paleobiology on February 26, 2018. Further refinements were made to the scan on April 9, 2018.
