This massive ground sloth bone was unearthed by Charles Washburn in 1921 from the Rio Negro Province of Argentina, specifically identified as VCU_3D_3327. It underwent 3D scanning using a Go!Scan 50 at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum's Department of Paleobiology on February 26, 2018.
