This massive ground sloth mandible was discovered by Charles Washburn in 1921 from the Rio Negro Province of Argentina, VCU_3D_3329. The mandible was captured with precise detail using a Go!Scan 50 at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum's Department of Paleobiology on February 26, 2018.
