USN Hospital Ship

Hello! I've been working on this one off and on for awhile and has been one of my more detailed and time consuming models. I learned a lot from this and has definitely helped me enhance and better my 3d modeling skills. This hospital ship is based off USNS Mercy and Comfort, although the name on the stern is engraved Mercy, would be more accurate referencing the class name of the 2 ships. I didn't focus on just the 1 ship because although they are similar there's still minor differentiations between the two, and features that I may have took from Comfort also. I modeled some things to my liking to keep the look cleaner and more symmetric, like you will see with some portholes, and I purposely left some small details out that many will never notice. Even though this may be my last model for awhile (but hopefully not forever) you should let me know what I should design next. This is completely free and for nonprofit use only because it is my hobby and one of the things I like to do if I find myself having some free time. This reconstruction is not at all accurate to say, one of the $300 models on Turbosquid, but it should at least work as a little 3d printed model to display on your dresser! Just as the 2 ships were built on the San Clemente oil tanker hull, mine was built upon my freighter series ship hull with just enough changes to let it get away with being a hospital ship.
