USER INTERCHANGEABLE PROSTHETIC HAND VERSION 2

The revised SNAPON concept involves a prosthetic arm adaptor made using Sugru, an innovative polymorph material. This design aims to create affordable, easily adjustable budget prosthetics for users. The prosthesis male part screws into the arm end and secures with a lock nut. Users can attach specialized utensils, such as cups (which may be 3D printed), to the prosthetic through magnetic connection. An alternative option is the use of Polymorph, a plastic that shapes at 160°F, allowing attachment of various items like spoons and screwdrivers. However, dishwasher-safe non-Morph components are planned. For storage, attachments can be placed in designated slots on a board or kept in a bin, with easy removal and replacement through fitting the female part into the male portion.
