This membrane is a redundant two-part system. I've had some concepts involving an eccentric disc, powered by a speed-controlled motor and housed in a stern-like assembly with (potentially adjustable) volumes for emergency breathing use with minimal materials required. It's a design that could be utilized if feasible. The membrane is made of TPU/TPE while the vessel can be crafted from PETG/PLA/ABS materials.
