Useless Dice
thingiverse
This is a work-in-progress dice design that features QR codes. However, OpenSCAD currently mangles the QR code images when extruding them, resulting in subpar codes. To solve this issue, the designer used a Ruby script to generate QR code "pixels" and then output OpenSCAD cube primitives for each pixel. This updated version of the dice is called "Useless Dice" and can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:22997. For printing, if you have a single-color printer, use a light-colored core and dark modeling clay (like Fimo) in the holes, then seal it with clear nail polish remover when dry. If you have a dualstruder printer, print the core in light color and pips in dark color.
