Useless Box with Code
thingiverse
This really is all thanks to Eiral for the original design that sparked it all. I simply remixed it, tweaking things just enough to remove the bump at the bottom and allow me to use a different size switch. The switch I used is right here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013DZB6CO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I designed this code to be incredibly adaptable to any style of box setup, making it easy for anyone to copy from my GitHub repository: https://github.com/Jason55904/Useless-Box/commit/bba37cf2905552e417f26d91039077f1570521a9 Credit goes out where credit is due. The box design itself comes straight from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4212064. As for the code, I pieced it together from various sources - it looks pretty similar to others out there, but I'm not sure who originally wrote it. You can check out some of the places I drew inspiration from at these links: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4212064, https://forum.digikey.com/t/useless-box-project/4930, and https://github.com/vagelis-chantzis/UselessBox/blob/master/UselessBox.ino. Edit 07/29/2020: I've also added an arm to the design because I was having a lot of trouble with the original setup.
