Useless Box
pinshape
I designed this box to be both practical and easy to print. I searched online for a sturdy one that could accommodate my items, but couldn't find any suitable options. So, I created this design using Fusion360, keeping in mind its ease of printing and assembly. I used a standard-size modded servo, the Futaba FP-S148, which can be modified as described in this Instructable: http://www.instructables.com/id/Remove-a-Servo-Controller/. Additionally, you'll need a micro switch (available on eBay at http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-pc-TEMCo-Micro-Limit-Switch-Lever-Arm-Subminiature-SPDT-Snap-Action-LOT-/281353659655?hash=item4181fc2507:g:xcgAAMXQ9otTj4uW) and a 2-pole micro toggle switch. A 4-AA battery holder is also required. You'll need M3 bolts and some M4 nuts and bolts, which can be found in this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TG3i88PaUQ. I'm creating a video tutorial on how to assemble it, but it will take some time. In the meantime, here are my print settings: Printer Brand - RepRap, Printer - Mono Mendel, Rafts - No, Supports - No, Resolution - 0.25 mm, Infill - 20%, and Notes - 3 perimeters on top and bottom with a layer height of 1.4-2 mm.
