This impressive device draws inspiration from a design on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1258082. I aimed to create mechanical parts that fit together seamlessly, incorporating a microcontroller into the mix. I revamped nearly every component from my previous build, making targeted adjustments to suit my specific needs. The result exceeded expectations. To secure the hatch, I employed snug fit hex M3 nuts and bolts. In contrast to the original design's reliance on a spring, I opted for two small M3 screws and a rubber band to maintain tension on the hatch. I utilized an Arduino MINI as the brain of this device, paired with a 9g servo motor and a SPDT switch. The SPDT comm pin is connected to GND, while the other end is linked to GPIO 4 on the Arduino MINI. Meanwhile, the servo motor is hooked up to GPIO 9 on the Arduino MINI.
