Modified from this design http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:33357. A new approach is taken here, combining two legs into one head with a third leg on a swinging hinge that folds flat. This design aims to simplify connections and reduce complexity resulting from printing inconsistencies. The tripod's purpose is to hold up a computer fan for use on a desk, so the ball joint has been modified to accommodate a 3" fan (1" thick). A 2" 6-32 screw was used, but a 1.5" screw would likely be sufficient. Due to its unique shape, support material is required for this piece alone. A camera mount has also been included; however, a matching bolt with the correct thread and size for your camera will be needed. The pins on the hinge are small and may break off if forced out, but they should hold during initial installation. Repeated loading, though, will likely cause damage. Larger pins might be designed in future iterations to address this issue.
