Used toilet paper roll holder

This is a holder for USED toilet paper rolls - i.e. just the cardboard roll in the middle. What is the rationale for this? Here, we have kids, and we take trash sorting seriously. So no one really wants to throw the cardboard roll in the general trash in the bathroom, they want to take it downstairs to the special cardboard trash container. But they don't get it done just now, so there are usually 1-4 cardboard rolls standing on the floor, waiting to be sorted. This holder can accommodate 1-5 (you fold number 2-3-4 and stick them inside number one) in an elegant fashion until they all get taken for sorting. Attach to wall with double sided tape.
