Used Staple Trap
thingiverse
I love my wife dearly, but she's also incredibly lazy when it comes to putting things away where they belong - especially those annoying little metal thingies called staples. Every day I'd step on a new one in a different spot around the house because she just left them wherever she dropped them, like a treasure hunt for mine feet! That was until I got my genius on and solved this super common household problem once and for all. My game-changing fix involves printing two pieces: One will have a tiny magnet attached to its bottom using superglue (making sure the new additions are roughly bigger in size than the staple hole), while the other piece remains unaltered - with an 8mm opening on top. I take any old staples, pop 'em through that top hole, then close everything back up! No more pesky spills everywhere; now it's all nice 'n' tidy as can be.
