My wife demonstrated their effectiveness as Window ice scrapers, but I found them tricky to hold in freezing temperatures. Consequently, this holder was born. Moreover, if you accidentally damage the edge, it's a breeze to flip the card around in the holder and get a brand-new, clean edge.
