It is important for our environment to separate our garbage. Here in the Netherlands we have different bins to collect garbage. 1 for paper, 1 for plastic, 1 for green and 1 for all the garbage that doesn’t belong to the other 3. Except for glas, chemicals and batteries. If you have empty batteries you are supposed to bring them to a battery collection point. Usually located in a store. So I thought it would be easy to have a bin to collect all your empty batteries at home. So you can take them all to a collection point in one go. And since we are thinking about the environment, I did not design this bin all out of plastic. But from plastic and paper, to be more exact cardstock. For the walls of the bin you can use 220 grams cardstock, it is stronger than you might think. If you want to make it your own, with your own design. Make your design in landscape mode. Just print the design on a A4 paper and glue it to the cardstock. I would love to see what you make !! Place down the bottom piece, put some glue in the groove and slide the cardstock (with the paper) inside the groove. Now take the piece I called papermask and slide it in between the opening of the paper, from the top to the bottom move down in small steps. (This can be a little tricky). No glue needed for this step. But if you want to glue it go ahead. Once the paper is all around closed. You can put on the top. Now finally glue the top-top piece to the top.
