Use water bottle as Sand Media Blaster
thingiverse
I came across a YouTube video that showcased building your own sand blaster from a water bottle, specifically https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6L_ArXCbYs&list=PLhmMEpmvcer74gRNlWpHwosrOjbsphuUO. I decided to combine some elements and created an adapter so you can print the required parts directly from the video. After finally printing out this design, it turned out well, but the media inlet was way too small. To address this issue, I updated the files with the fourth edition, which features a much larger media inlet. When cutting the hole in the metal air gun tubing, I recommend making it slightly smaller than the adapter's internal hole to minimize the risk of media entering the soft plastic. In addition, I added bevels to the inside of the adapter to help guide the media towards the hole. Furthermore, I widened the base of the design as it seemed to print more smoothly and provide extra strength.
