'Use as you want' Filament Clip
thingiverse
NEW VERSION AVAILABLE:\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3845242\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAnother 1.75mm filament clip appears on Thingiverse :)\r\n\r\nThis model is designed for 1.75mm filaments.\r\nIf you want to use it with 3mm filaments, simply resize it to 171-172%.\r\n\r\nKey Features:\r\nSmall and compact\r\nEasy to install and use\r\nFast and efficient\r\nUniversal design for all your needs\r\n\r\nUse this clip in various ways:\r\nOn the spool side\r\nHolding two filaments with 'teeth'\r\nHolding one filament with 'teeth' and one or two with a hook - highly recommended, uses minimal space\r\nAnd many other creative ways!\r\n\r\nNote: If you use it on the spool side, it may not work well with pure filament as it can warp too much. It's best to use only one part at a time.\r\n\r\nNot extensively tested, but used PLA for this model. If you experience any issues, try using PET, which should last longer.\r\n\r\nThe final version of the part with a hole has not been thoroughly tested. The previous version had a too-small hole, so I've made it slightly larger. If it's still too small, please let me know.\r\nThis clip will still be useful even without using the hole.\r\n\r\nNot extensively tested with very thick spools.\r\n\r\nUPDATE 08.IV.2019\r\nAdded two new STL files with stronger versions.\r\nSlightly more challenging to use (requires a bit more force to open) but will last longer.\r\nIf the first 'teeth' merge slightly during printing, simply use something thin to force it open - I've reduced the distance to hold the filament tighter.\r\n\r\nUPDATE 31.V.2019\r\nRemoved the original files (they were too weak for long-term use) and added an improved version (v2). It will last much longer but cannot be used on the spool like the original or 'strong' versions. It's designed specifically for holding filament.\r\nThe decals have been reshaped for easier use.
