USBC Caddy
thingiverse
I have a computer that only has USB-C ports on it. Older USB hubs and gear still clutter my desk, so I constantly need to find the USB Type C to USB 3.0 Mini Adapter. Every time I need it, I have to search around my entire desk for it. To solve this problem, I created a caddy that mounts next to my keyboard to hold these adapters. The design is simple and should be easy to print with most any 3D printer. For the print, I used Tough PLA and set the resolution low to speed up the process. After adding this to my desk, life has definitely improved! Files: * USB_C_Holder.stl - The STL file that I printed * USB_C_Holder.skp - Source file ----- This is the USB Type C to USB 3.0 Mini Adapter that I use with the caddy. It may work with other adapters, but this is the one I purchased and it works perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015Z7XE0A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
