USBasp Dongle Cover
thingiverse
One piece case for USBasp board (the black one) comes together with the holes for LEDs, using pieces of clear filament as light transmitters. The 5V/3V3 switch has a cutout that makes it easy to set the board in place when it's inside the case, thanks to a toothpick. The USBasp board was purchased from https://www.ebay.com/itm/381374691905. To print this case, use a vertical position with the cutout for the USB connector facing down. Select 20 perimeters and 0.2 quality preset, but infill settings don't matter at all. Clean the LED light holes with a 1.7 mm drill and insert some natural color 1.7 mm filament into them. Cut these filaments flush with the surface of the case. There's no need to use glue because they fit perfectly in place. Insert the dongle into the box through the USB connector first, then push it all the way down. Glue isn't needed here either. Before putting the board inside its new home, reflash the USBasp board with firmware version 1.06. If you need to do this too, temporarily connect those two terminals at the bottom of the board underneath the MCU. The latest alpha firmware can be found at https://github.com/bperrybap/usbasp/tree/1.06-alpha/bin/firmware, while the official one is available from Thomas Fischl's website at https://fischl.de/usbasp/.
