I've Found a Solution to My USBISP AVR Programmer Problem Sometimes, things just don't go as planned. Recently, I encountered an issue with my USBISP AVR Programmer that had me stumped. The problem seemed insurmountable, but after some persistence and the right tools, I was able to overcome it. Case in point: a faulty SOIC8 SOP8 package that refused to cooperate with my programmer. After scouring the internet for a solution, I finally found what I needed - a Scrapers Deburring Trimming Tool from AliExpress. Armed with this new tool, I set out to rectify the situation. First things first, I used wire cutters to carefully trim away any excess material that might be hindering my programmer's ability to connect with the chip. With the SOIC8 SOP8 now exposed, I was able to successfully program it using my trusty USBISP AVR Programmer. It was a small victory, but one that went a long way in restoring my confidence in my programming abilities.
