USB Volt Meter/Charger Mounting Case

This is a digital volt meter holder with USB charging outlet. The electronic components can be found here. I needed an easy way to monitor my motorcycle's charging system status, since I have several "power hungry" accessories installed (notably a heated jacket and grips). This digital voltmeter provides a solution while offering a low-amp (500 milliamps) charging port in the same case that securely holds the device. The bottom part of the case holds the electronics firmly without screws, although two stand-offs have pilot holes designed into them. The top part has an excellent interference fit on my printer, so no glue or fastener is necessary to hold the parts together. The wires are protected from moisture, but I wouldn't consider it waterproof. It's mounted in a well-protected area under my dashboard, and I haven't had any issues with moisture yet. Printer Settings Printer: Monoprice MakerSelect (v1) Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .28 Layer Infill: 100% Notes: Depending on how well your printer handles overhangs, you may need to print with supports. The wire shroud on the top part is at a 45-degree angle, so it should print okay without supports if your printer is well calibrated. Post-Printing Assembly Fit the circuit board into the bottom piece and ensure it fits securely. If necessary, use mounting screws to secure it (you may need to drill the standoffs for screw installation). Connect the wires to the left side of the circuit board before snapping the top piece in place to avoid any issues with the shroud. I use Scotch Extreme fasteners to attach the case to my motorcycle. After verifying fit, attach both parts of the fastener strip to the under-side of the mounting tab on the case. Peel the adhesive from the strip and place the case in position. Press firmly and then let it sit for a while to allow the adhesive to cure.
