USB Type C Adjustable Power Supply
thingiverse
A Tiny USB Type C Adjustable Power Supply is Made Possible with a PD Buddy and a DPS5005 Adjustable Power Supply. Both Devices Can Deliver up to 5 Amps of Power. While the DPS5005 Supports a Maximum Voltage of 50 Volts, USB Type C only Goes Up to 20 Volts. A DPS3005 Could be Used Instead to Save a Couple of Dollars. The Assembly Process is Relatively Simple. First, Print the Housing and Insert M3 Nuts into the Bottom. Next, Install a Banana Plug Terminal, Which Should Have 0.75 Inch Spacing. Any Highrock Branded Terminal from Amazon Will Also Work. Now, Connect Wires to the Terminals and the PD Buddy. Make Sure to Program the Voltage and Current Settings for the PD Buddy Before Continuing, as the Programming Button will No Longer be Accessible After This Step. Install the PD Buddy into the Housing using Short M3 Bolts. Remove the Screw Terminal Block from the DPS5005 and Connect the Other Ends of the Wires. Ensure Positive and Negative Connections are in the Right Order. Finally, Install the Terminal Block into the DPS5005 and Press Fit it into the Housing.
