USB Type A socket Din rail mount
thingiverse
I planned to relocate all of the USB sticks away from the end of the raspberry Pi housing to improve access and facilitate cooling. The end of the pi could get quite hot with all those USB sticks in place, so this was a necessary move. I also wanted it to look good, which is why they call it the "wife factor." I printed the enclosure on its side, which made things a bit tricky. Inside, I had to add supports, and cleaning up the mess wasn't easy. However, the USB Type A female sockets fit perfectly into place. To keep everything secure, I added a cable tie to the underside of the enclosure. Big thanks go out to Marauder156 for sharing their base Din rail clip design. It was a perfect fit, nice and tight.
