USB Caps! – Type A

These are cute little USB caps that can fit into a USB Type-A port. Use the OpenSCAD file to print your own text or merge it with another model to make them truly yours!

I tried to emboss the Undertale dog, but my printer is not perfectly calibrated. The USB will still function fine as a cap.

Originally I intended for these to take 22 gauge wire and act as a quick and dirty 5V power supply from a computer USB port. It will work, but the holes on the bottom will not print properly if your printer tends to over extrude and you'll likely need to drill a hole somehow to feed the wire through and glue them in place.

⚠ If you do the above, make sure that the wire only contacts the pins and not the outside enclosure, as they are usually metal and will short
