This USB to D-battery adapter was originally designed for use in the Hot Wheels Booster, but it can be used on any 3v/4.5v battery configuration device that uses 2-3 D-batteries. Parts: * Printed Parts * DC-DC Buck Converter Adjustable Power Step Down Module ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQGMOKI ) * USB-A to bare wire ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y5RKMT8 ) * Short pieces of Wire (Red/Black) for the output * 2 M3x6mm Button Head Cap Screws * 1 M8x55mm Hex Bolt * 1 M8x14mm Button Head Cap Screw * 1 M8x10mm Hex Bolt * 3 M8 Hex Nuts Notes: * The Buck Converter needs to be connected to a 5v DC power supply to set the output. Use a multi-meter to adjust the potentiometer on the board down to <=3.3v DC output. * Connect the output wires to the bolts by hooking the positive output to the M8x14mm Button Head Cap Screw and the negative output to the M8x10mm Hex Bolt. * To connect the output wires to the bolts, simply wrap a bare section of the wire under the head of the button head and under the nut of the hex bolt. * The M8x55mm Bolt is used as a pass-through to fill the void of the second D-battery. Post if you have any issues. Constructive feedback is always welcome.
