USB Surface Mounting Plate
thingiverse
I picked up a 12V USB outlet to replace the one that came in my RV but needed a mounting plate for it as I couldn't get behind the wall to spin the nut on it. So I came up with this little gem! It's square with round holes, screw holes and a 29.5mm hole in the middle for the USB outlet to mount in. There isn't a whole lot to say about it! the first one I printed was 5mm x 44mm x 44mm. I fount it just a little too small for my application. I also thought 5mm thick was a bit much so I changed it to 3mm thick and 55mm x 55mm. I'm using Matter3D Performance PLA in black, it's glossier than I would like but I didn't want to use the carbon fiber PETg due to the cost. My RV easily gets over 45 degrees C so let's hope it doesn't warp! This is the USB outlet that I'm using. https://a.co/d/451IW13
