<p><strong>Arduino based shifter/handbrake combo for PC. </strong><br>For this project i got inspiration from Amstudio's handbrake projects.<br>https://amstudioprojects.com/handbrakes/<br>The Handbrake sketch for Arduino is from him.<br>Arduino sketch for shifter come from the Thingiverse thing:2246728 by jjamieallen.<br>Idea for Shifter style come from Thingiverse thing:4557771 by bbeavis.<br>For Arduino download sketch Shifter_Handbrake.ino.<br>I Try to included Joystick libaries for Arduino by Matthew Heironimus, but it those are not supported files.<br>You have to download files from https://github.com/MHeironimus/ArduinoJoystickLibrary, beacuse you need those. <br>Follow the Installation Instructions.<br>Then Upload Sketch to Arduino Pro Micro.</p><p>A list of required parts can be found in the manual as well as printing recommendations. <br><strong>Please read usb-shifter handbrake manual.pdf</strong><br>Personally, I used several different filaments because I wanted to test the new filaments that came to me.<br>So basically any filament is suitable as long as you use at least 3 perimeters and 40% infill. <br>The tolerance for bearings is 0.1mm, i.e. for the 16mm bearing the diameter of the hole for the bearing in arms is 16.2mm.<br>The TPU I used was a NinjaTek Cheetah, but at least for handles it would have been worth using a softer TPU.<br>More Info from the manual.</p><p>My first Handbrake spring was 100mm long but too soft, next was better but 86mm long so I made HB front wall 2 - part for shorter spring.</p>
