USB security box
thingiverse
Got sick of my family constantly swiping my USB cords. I discovered another design online, but it wasn't good enough for me, so I designed this one myself. No more cables disappearing into other people's devices. Confirmed a snug fit with the NOOT and RAVPOWER 60W 6-port chargers. Only supports needed for the main power cord entrance. The box has three CSK holes for wall mounting. A #6 screw seems to work perfectly, although I haven't actually mounted it yet. The lid is secured to the box with #4 screws. I've included a picture of the screws I used for the lid. For reference, my USB chargers are approximately 4 inches by 2.72 inches by 1.18 inches or 101.6 millimeters by 69.09 millimeters by 29.97 millimeters in size. The NOOT model is NP60W (https://www.amzn.com/B075Y614Q3). The RAVPOWER model is RP-PC028 (https://www.amzn.com/B00OQ19QYA). On January 28, I encountered a few thicker cables that required filing to fit the previous 3.7mm slots. I updated the design to increase the cable slot width to 4.5mm.
