USB powered AAA battery
thingiverse
To stop constantly replacing AAA batteries in my noise-cancelling headphones, I created a USB power replacement. This device gets power from a computer's USB port when connected to the headphones. It's practical if your headphone battery compartment is on the cord. I didn't add capacitors as USB power is clean enough. To make it, print the object with raft and supports. Mine took only 12 minutes. Secure a flexible USB cable, cutting back to expose 2" of red/black wires. Clean up the printed piece and drill holes for assembly. Build the circuit using pliers, verifying correct voltage before installation. Super glue everything together, using twist ties for support while drying.
