USB Powerbank

USB Powerbank

This is my first upload. I was requested by another user to upload my version of a powerbank for 18650 lithium ion batteries. This uses a cheap (under $2) powerbank module from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000192311242.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.d65e7a79hiqGcD I didn't plan on uploading this but was requested by another user, so I didn't take time to perfect the design. It was originally just a quick print to repurpose some batteries I got from an old laptop. I can remember there was a problem with the front panel and I needed to use flush cutters to snip off a little bit of plastic that was preventing the powerbank module from being inserted. It shouldn't be a big problem, but please note that this design is not perfect. - Print it upright and it doesn't need supports. - The case and front panel are to be glued together. - I glued in a thin transparent plastic sheet to protect the screen and make it more resistant to water ingress. CAUTION Please note that lithium ion batteries are inherently dangerous. Please don't make this if you don't know what you are doing. I really wouldn't use a homemade powerbank on an airplane or other dangerous environment. Even though the module supposedly has short circuit protection and other safety measures included, be EXTRA careful of your soldering and make sure there are no potential shorts. This is a dangerous project that potentially goes against safety rules and regulations in your country. I will not be held responsible for any damages caused by this project.
