USB Power Supply
thingiverse
This Thing is a compact enclosure that houses a high-efficiency Buck Converter capable of converting 12/24Vdc input to 5Vdc output. The **USB Bottom** section features a V-Slot mounting flange, identical to the _Prusa MK 2/3 Bear Upgrade_. When connected to the _Prusa PSU_, the device receives its power from the spare contacts and automatically adjusts to provide either 12Vdc or 24Vdc depending on the printer model. The electronics assembly seamlessly converts this voltage into a stable 5.1Vdc output, which is then delivered through a standard USB A type connector capable of supporting up to 3 amps of current. This versatile supply is primarily designed for powering Raspberry PI devices running OctoPrint, but can be utilized for any other USB charging needs that do not exceed the 3-amp threshold.
