USB Mount for motorcycle 55mm front suspension leg
thingiverse
For my wife her chopper bike I bought this double USB connector with volt indicator: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B086PRHKC1 Now I needed a way to mount it. I designed this mount to fot to the front suspension leg of the bike, and fixed it with to ty-wraps. Between the leg and the mount I placed a rubberish anti-slip mat, and that works beautifully! You can connect the module directly to the bikes battery, but I found that the horn gets power through the bikes key-ignition, but is activated through mass. So in many cases you can get switched 12V through the horn connector, and mount the minus side to the frame. I believe not many people now that. We have a Yamaha and a Suzuki and both work this way. The horn is in most cases the easiest way to get power to your accessories!
