USB MIDI Pedal Box
thingiverse
This is a compact four-button foot pedal designed for sending MIDI messages via USB. The case is engineered to slide together, with the ends snapping into place, eliminating the need for fasteners or adhesives in theory. There are three distinct end cap variations: blank, USB jack, and USB + MIDI jack. Print two end caps of your preferred type, along with a "top" and a "bot". You can use either momentary guitar pedal footswitches or 12mm buttons, as seen in the photo. Inside the box, a Trinket M0 controller reads the buttons. However, an ItsyBitsy M0 would be a better choice due to its increased code space. The code is written in CircuitPython. A Fusion360 file is included for those who want to easily modify the box.
