If your item comes in a large number of individual components, consider placing each part on its own workspace to help keep them from getting mixed up. Make sure you know what goes where by comparing it against the diagram found inside the package or online. Now that you have all the parts laid out and easily visible, proceed to screw them together according to your chosen custom configuration, working clockwise until tightened as much as possible without overtightening anything that may get stuck in place if too tight.
