USB Load Tester Case

USB Load Tester Case

prusaprinters

A case I designed to suit a cheap USB Load Tester purchased from AliExpress. Those resistors get very, VERY hot in use, so something was needed to keep fingers, animals, flammables, etc, away from them.

Holes are also provided on the under side for test probes.

Accuracy is key. The joints are all designed to provide only a 0.1mm to 0.2mm gap, but if an Ender-2 can do it than any modern printer should be able to. It's still a decently tight fit, however, so be prepared to use a little force to get it all together; just not so much that you separate the layers.

Supports are not required - the maximum angle is 45° and the bridges are under 5mm long.

Regular PLA may not be suitable for prolonged use due to the heat the resistors give off. I've had no issues so far with PLA+.
