USB Hub Holder for IKEA ADILS Desk Leg
thingiverse
I crafted this bespoke bracket to securely attach a USB Hub to an IKEA ADILS desk leg or any other round object with a diameter of approximately 1-5/8 inches. I employed two 6-32x3/4 inch machine screws and two corresponding nuts, which cost around $0.40 at my local Ace Hardware. The bracket fits tightly, so you may not necessarily need the bolt and nuts, but I prefer to have an extra layer of security. The print settings I used were 60% infill and 0.2mm layers, resulting in a sturdy product that works flawlessly. No supports are required. Initially, I tried printing at 40% infill, which produced a slightly flimsy bracket with the hardware. The two separate files are mirror images of each other, with the screw head located on the same side when assembled. To secure your USB Hub in place, I recommend visiting Amazon and purchasing this product: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FPG5BSE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For the desk leg, you can find it at IKEA's official website: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70217973/
