USB for Swiss Army Knife

USB for Swiss Army Knife

Friend asks me if I can design a USB holder for his Swiss Army Knife, replacing the original 1GB drive with a larger one without damaging it. So I do. The new holder takes about an hour to create in Tinkercad and works perfectly. It's printed on a Malyan M200 using Taulman red T Glase at 2.2 mm layer thickness and 45 mms, sliced in Simplify3D with supports inside for the cavity. This allows him to insert a Samsung or Sandisk Micro USB and remove the plastic housing, securing it with epoxy. The holder clips into the knife securely, moves freely, and the existing cover and lock work seamlessly with the USB "blade".
