As a Design & Technology educator, I've thought of a creative project using our new MakerBot. Year 10 students will disassemble an old or new functional USB stick and then design a custom shell for it. This task will test their measuring and CAD abilities. To ensure all students have a turn with the MakerBot, projects should be simple, small prints that don't require extensive printing time.
