USB Fan Mount
thingiverse
I took an old USB fan and gave it a fresh new mount, adding a convenient power switch and a thermometer that lets me keep tabs on the temperature in real-time. The whole setup looks sharp on my desk and works like a charm - quiet and efficient. Check out the fan I'm using: https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-External-One-touch-Retractable-AF0007/dp/B002OJN250/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=thermaltake+usb+fan&qid=1561675022&s=gateway&sr=8-3 I printed two bases, one a mirror image of the other. I used PETG, but you can print this with just about any filament - it's up to you. To secure the mounts, I opted for 3mm bolts. To make the toggle switches work seamlessly, I scaled down the design to fit them perfectly.
