USB Desk Fan from old computer case (80mm)

I had some 80mm fans just waiting to be put to good use in a computer case. So, I decided to create something useful out of them. This is a 12v computer case fan that I attached a USB boost converter to so it can run on a 5v USB port. You can cut the barrel connector off the boost converter cable and solder directly to the fan or add an alligator clip to barrel jack adapter for a detachable connection. I chose to cut the clips off and solder the barrel jack to the fan directly, making it easy to take apart. Here's what you'll need: a 12v USB boost converter (available at Adafruit), a 2.1mm barrel connector to attach to the boost converter, and my custom swiveling parts (created using Thingiverse). The design prints in three pieces, with only the "fan body" requiring support material, which is minimal. Print settings: I used my Flux 3D Delta printer with a resolution of 0.3mm, no raft, yes support, and 20% infill.
