This is a clever design that lets you route a USB cable through a table without drilling a large hole. By creating a 5/8" diameter hole, the flat part of the connector fits snugly through it, then you can clamp the collar in place using screws. The collar is held together with #6 screws and two halves are easily compressed to accommodate the USB cord. To install the screw, simply tighten pan head screws for extra grip and minimize space use. The collar itself is made from three PLA shells, 20% filled for added stability.
