USB Connector Case

Three different housing options exist for USB ports. These are necessary for self-soldered USB plugs and cables capable of handling heavy loads during device testing, including chargers, solar panels, and cable evaluation. Check out the designs here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2789320 The thin cable version is suitable for cables approximately 4.5 mm thick, while the thick version accommodates 5.5 mm cables. Printing them with flex filament ensures a tight fit (refer to the two lower pictures). If cables are excessively thick or connectors cannot be removed, use the split version and secure it with superglue. I printed all versions using Colorfabb NGEN and NGEN Flex filaments but they will work with any type of filament. Print the designs upright as their STL-files are positioned, and attach them with the logo facing upwards. Solderable USB ports can be sourced from manufacturers such as Panstrong, Confly, and others. Additionally, a case for Female breakout adapters has been included. View the pictures and STL-files provided. Unfortunately, I cannot recall where I purchased these adapters some time ago. Enjoy your designs!
