USB Connector Cap

The protective cover on my PNP thumb drive slipped out and broke apart, so I crafted a brand new lid from Ninjaflex. The first one perfectly fits standard USP connectors, safeguarding the device from dust and dirt. To get optimal results, it's crucial to make this cover from flexible materials like Ninjaflex or Filaflex, as rigid plastics like PLA or ABS will not perform well. Once I completed the lid, I discovered that the connector inside was still loose in the plastic housing due to frequent travel in my pocket. Therefore, I created a second version that envelops the thumb drive from base to tip, where the original sleeve used to slide in place. This updated cover is only suitable for this specific PNP model, whereas the smaller lid can be used with various standard USB connectors. Instructions This design was made specifically for 3D printing, but it's essential to note that a flexible material like Ninjaflex or Filaflex must be used to achieve optimal results.
