USB Case
thingiverse
These replacement cases are designed specifically for USB drives, also known as jump drives, thumb sticks, or flash drives. The intention behind these designs is to encase a naked circuit board with a USB port protruding from it. Two sets of files are included: one for an older Cruze stick and another for a generic drive. This particular design features two halves that come together to secure the drive in place between them, allowing for assembly without the need for glue, adhesives, or fasteners. Print Settings: Printer: Rafts: No preference Supports: None required Resolution: 0.15 mm Infill: 20% Notes: This model was printed using the 0.20mm Normal profile provided by Prusa Research. Due to its design, no supports are needed. The tabs on the outside case print well with the Original Prusa i3 Mk2 without any support issues. Post-Printing: Assembly: Insert the circuit board into the inside half of the case, which is the smaller one featuring tabs that interface with the circuit board. Next, align the other half of the case and snap it shut. You may need pliers to provide sufficient force for the second side to snap securely into place.
