Usb Camera with Lens (ELP)
thingiverse
This is a camera crafted from the standard USB Camera Module, such as ELP, featuring a pre-drilled hole to accommodate a standard 12mm lens. To utilize the camera module, you must first remove any existing lens holder. Additionally, you will need to tap the plastic with a 12mm/0.5mm tap to secure the lens in place. While it may be possible to force a lens into position, the design is intended for tapping. The standard unit does not come equipped with mounting holes. However, the second base features an attached mount with 2-inch spaced mounting holes. If desired, you can easily drill holes for additional mounting options, as there is ample space available inside. Assembly requires 4 M2 (2mm) nuts and bolts to secure the parts together. While the nuts are optional if the assembly only needs to be completed once or twice, I opted for a more secure design since this camera will be part of a machine that experiences shaking movements. Note: The third image depicts an additional circular holder not included in the original bracket.
